Mount Meru Delivers Free Dental Medical Services in Ngorongoro, 1,600 People Treated

A team of specialist dental doctors from Mount Meru Regional Referral Hospital conducted a five-day medical camp in Ngorongoro, providing dental treatment and oral health education to students, teachers, and local residents.
The camp took place at four primary schools as well as the Ngorongoro District Hospital, as part of the hospital’s centenary celebrations under the slogan, “100 Years of Service and Hope.”
During the camp, a total of 1,600 people received services, including dental check-ups, treatment of decayed teeth, tooth extractions, and professional advice on proper oral hygiene and care.
In addition to medical treatment, oral health education was provided to raise awareness on preventing dental and gum diseases, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to bringing quality healthcare closer to the community.
