THE QUALITY OF CARE SHOULD BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LANGUAGES OF PATIENTS

The Government through the Ministry of Health will continue to ensure the productivity and well-being of nurses, doctors and all employees of the Health Sector to get their rights as well as supervise and monitor their responsibilities in carrying out their duties including having decent languages for patients (customer care).

Minister of Health Hon. Jenista Mhagama said this today September 11, 2024 while talking to staff and patients while on his visit to inspect the services provided at the Jakawa Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) in Dar Es Salaam.

"Health is the security of the country, Health is the development of the country, Health is a very basic thing in the prosperity of the nation, we say today that we have reached the middle economy because we have improved the health of the people, so we must manage well the interests of the employees but also their performance ." In addition, Minister Mhagama said the Government led by President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has done great things in the Health Sector, especially in the investment of human resources as well as equipment, medical equipment in championship services.

"We are very grateful to President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, within three years the Government has invested in the provision of professional services where more than 20 countries come to Tanzania to get these services including Germany." Minister Mhagama has said

Finally, Minister Mgahama has congratulated JKCI for the innovative services provided, "we have seen a new administrative and testing building that will have laboratories for testing various diseases, including heart disease."

On his part, the Director of the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) Dr. Peter Kisenge has said that the Institute through the Samia Outreach Program has been able to reach 16 regions and 17,000 citizens have seen them and others with the Institute for treatment.

"Every day in our Institute we perform surgery on Four to Five patients and we see 500 hundred patients in One day, as well as we have strengthened tourism therapy where we see 343 hundred patients." Said Dr. Gossip
